Terms of Use

JPINZ is for adults. You must be 18 or over to create an account, and you confirm this when you sign up. If we learn that an account holder is under 18 we will close the account.

• Give accurate information when you sign up, and keep it up to date.
• Your account is for you. Do not share it or let someone else use it.
• Keep your password to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else has access.
• You are responsible for what happens under your account.

JPINZ shows you what local businesses are offering: Rewards, Promotions and Flash Offers, on a map and in lists, sorted by how close they are to you. JPINZ is a place to discover those offers. The offers themselves are made by the businesses, not by JPINZ.

Businesses write and publish their own content: opening hours, descriptions, prices, images, and the terms of every Reward, Promotion and Flash Offer. JPINZ does not check every listing before it appears.

JPINZ does not guarantee that a business will honour an offer, that the details shown are accurate or current, or that anything shown is still available. If a business does not honour a published offer, or if what you see is wrong or misleading, please report it in the app or email support@jpinz.com. We can remove content and suspend businesses, and we act on reports, but the agreement over the offer itself is between you and the business.

• Flash Offers run for a short window and end at the time shown, or earlier if the business ends them.
• Promotions run between the dates shown.
• Rewards can be withdrawn, paused or changed by the business at any time.
• A business can close, deactivate its JPINZ page, or stop publishing. Its content stops appearing when it does.
• Offers can also have limits set by the business, such as how often the same customer can use them.

Saving something does not reserve it, and it does not guarantee it will still be available when you get there.

To redeem a Reward you show it in the app at the business, and the business confirms it. Redemption is subject to the reward's own rules, including how often you may use it — for example once per calendar day, week, month or year. Those rules are enforced by JPINZ using the redemption record on your account.

A redemption is only valid if it is completed through JPINZ. Screenshots, expired references and reused references are not valid, and a business may refuse them.

You agree not to:

• Create more than one account to get around a reward's usage limits, or use anyone else's account.
• Attempt to redeem a reward you are not entitled to, or fake, alter or reuse a redemption.
• Automate, scrape, or bulk-extract JPINZ content, or interfere with how the service runs.
• Attempt to access other people's data, other businesses' dashboards, or any administrative area.
• Submit false or abusive reports, or upload unlawful, abusive or infringing content.
• Use JPINZ for anything unlawful.

Sharing your device location is optional and makes nearby results and distances work. Nearby notifications need you to save a notification area and choose a radius. Both are described in the Privacy Policy, and both are under your control in your settings.

JPINZ, its name, logo, design and software belong to us. Business names, logos, images and offer content belong to the businesses that publish them. You may use JPINZ content for your own personal use of the service, and not to republish, resell or build a competing listing service.

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, that is used fraudulently, or where we are required to by law. You can close your own account at any time from your settings; deletion is permanent.

JPINZ is still being built and is not open to the general public yet. Features can change, and the service may be unavailable at times. We do not promise uninterrupted availability.

We take reasonable care in running JPINZ. We are not responsible for the goods or services a business provides, the accuracy of what a business publishes, or a business's refusal to honour an offer. Nothing in these terms removes rights you have as a consumer under Irish or EU law that cannot be excluded.

Pending legal review: Liability limits, governing law and jurisdiction have deliberately not been stated. They depend on the legal operating entity, which is not yet incorporated, and must be drafted with a solicitor before launch.

You can delete your account at any time in Settings. It permanently removes your profile, saved businesses and content, notifications, preferences and redemption history. See the Privacy Policy for exactly what is removed and what is kept.

These terms carry a version number and effective date. Clarifications get a minor version. A material change gets a new major version, and we will ask you to accept it. Your acceptance record stores the exact version you agreed to.
